Obituary
Margaret J. Garmon (84) passed away on June 1, 2010 and she is in
glory. She was born in Hutchinson, KS, to Beatrice and Joseph Johnson.
Margaret joined church and was baptized at the age of 18. She was a
loyal member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church. She attended school in Hutchinson
and graduated from hisgh school, in 1943. In November 1943, Margaret married
James Edison Garmon. They have been married for 66 years and would have
celebrated their 67th anniversary this November.
Margaret is survived by her husband, James E. Garmon; two daughters
Marcelyn and Deborah of Wichitaq, KS; son James E. Garmon, Jr. (San
Bernardino, CA); 2 granddaughters: Dedra Garmon (Wichita, KS) and Anna Seay
(Rancho Cucamonga, CA); 2 great grandchildren: Jacob and Kaleb Seay (Rancho
Cucamonga, CA); brother: Frank (Joan) Johnson of Denver, CO, and a host of
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
