Edna jean Dennis passed from this life on Friday, February 19, 2010
at her home.
She was born on July 1, 1925 in Ozark, Arkansas to David and Ann C.
(Johnson) Alston. She was the oldest child of four. She completed ehr
education in Ozark before moving to Coffeyville, Kansas with her family.
She married nathaniel Dennis on August 25, 1951 in Fort Smith,
Arkansas. To this union three children were born. he preceded her in death
on February 3, 2003.
She was a faithful member of Bethel A.M.E. Church and also served on
the Usher Board. She was a homemaker.
She leaves to cherish her memory; two daughters, Sylvia Ann Dennis
(Coffeyville, KS) and Linda Kay Dennis (Tulsa, OK); one son Jerry Lee Dennis
(Coffeyville, KS); and a host of cousins, neices, nephews and friends. Sjhe
will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, numerous
aunts and uncles.
